Kronstadt Ship Repair Yard

Kronstadt Ship Repair Yard is located on Kotlin Island in the Gulf of Finland in the city of Kronstadt (St. Petersburg). The plant's territory includes unique hydraulic structures: harbors, equipped berths with a total length of 500 meters and 4 operating dry docks with a total length of slipway foundations of 750 meters. Such infrastructure allows comprehensive repair of ships and vessels up to 230 meters in length and up to 40,000 tons displacement. The energy base and technical equipment of the workshops, modern testing equipment allow performing almost any work on the repair and maintenance of ships and vessels for various purposes: dock repair of the underwater part of the hull with cleaning and painting, repair of bottom-outboard fittings and propeller-rudder complex, retractable and lifting-lowering devices, repair and manufacture of hull structures, ship fittings, ventilation systems and pipelines, repair and laying of cable routes, repair of ship electrical products and electrical equipment, manufacture of metal structures, painting works. The plant operates specialized productions: gas turbine (repair of gas turbine engines and gas pumping units), diesel (repair of marine diesel engines and diesel generators), electrical installation, painting, as well as an assembly and welding section for the production of metal structures and ship equipment. All works are certified and performed under the supervision of RMRS, RRR and VP.
