Svetlovsky Ship Repair Yard

SSRZ LLC (Svetlovsky Ship Repair Yard) is a ship repair enterprise located in the town of Svetly, an industrial satellite town of Kaliningrad. The enterprise occupies an area of 20 hectares on the bank of the navigable non-freezing Kaliningrad sea channel, 10 miles from Kaliningrad and 10 miles from the port of Baltiysk. Svetly is connected with Kaliningrad by automobile and rail roads (20 km); the distance to the airport is 38 km. Berthing lines with a length of 720 meters are equipped with six portal cranes with a lifting capacity of 10 to 32 tons. The complex is capable of accepting vessels with a draft of up to 6.8 meters. The special status of the territory allows accepting vessels under Russian and foreign flags; customs and boundary registration is carried out directly in the complex territory, and loading of vessels is permitted around the clock. The yard is certified according to the requirements of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. Main activities: ship repair, shipbuilding, port transshipment activities, plasma cutting services for sheet metal, grinding of frame and connecting rod journals of crankshafts.
