Legal consulting in the maritime industry — tasks for lawyers and law firms
Legal consulting in the maritime industry is a complex of legal services related to vessel operation, ship repair, cargo transportation, insurance, customs, labour relations and dispute resolution. Maritime law is one of the most complex and internationally regulated fields, where a mistake in a contract, a wrong clause or a missed deadline can cost millions. Contractors are maritime lawyers, law firms, attorneys, maritime law experts, foreign trade and customs law consultants, labour law specialists in the maritime industry.
